Testtrack Boxberg, Germany
The wide range of facilities at this 94-hectare site are ideal for the comprehensive training offered by the Porsche Track Experience. Running around the edge of the test track is a high-speed oval track with 3 lanes and a banked curve, covering a total distance of 3 km. Inside this track there is a dynamic driving area, an extreme cornering course and a series of uphill tracks.
As a beginner, you will first learn how to master the power and driving dynamics of your vehicle on surfaces with higher friction coefficients. Without the help of electronic assistance systems. In the theory part, you will learn about the physics of dynamic cornering with potential oversteering driving behaviour. Then, it is time to put your new insights into practice. On surfaces with various friction coefficients, and in ways that mostly minimise wear and tear. In sections designed to ensure optimal learning success.
Regardless of whether you want to prevent your Porsche 911 GT3 RS from swerving or take the first steps towards controlled lateral acceleration, both manoeuvres require precise interaction between steering, accelerator, and brake. That is why optimal vehicle control will be a particularly extensive part of your training – in a safe setting.
In extensive practice units, you will experience how the physics of drifting relate to reality. You will learn about the surprisingly many ways in which these driving dynamics can be manipulated, for example, by utilising load change reactions. And you will benefit from a detailed analysis of your driving performance.
This two-day training course is perfect for ambitious drivers who ideally have completed other Porsche Track Experience courses and are ready for the next challenge. Even after taking part in the training course several times, every cornering session will present you with a new challenge.
After all, the optimal drift requires mainly one thing: lots and lots of practice. And the g-Force GT training course is guaranteed to provide just that. The best preparation for taking on future driving challenges – in any situation.
Self-excess rental cars: Each participant needs to sign a car rental contract upon arrival at the training venue and acknowledge the maximum self-excess of €20,000.00 per car in case of damage.
