Your itinerary*

Day 1

Welcome to the city of 100 spires. We will pick you up from the airport and take you to the wonderful Augustine hotel – not far from Prague Castle. During the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to take part in a city tour. In the evening, we will provide a barbecue at the hotel restaurant.

Our tip: Prague was one of Europe’s cultural centres. The city situated on the river Vltava impresses with its beauty. Step onto Charles Bridge, which dates back to 1402, and admire the many spires from this wonderful vantage point.

Day 2
– Vitis– Vienna

Your day will begin at the Porsche Centre in Prague. In Vitis, you will stop by at Landgasthof zum Topf of award-winning chef Oswald Topf. The exquisite restaurant perfectly reflects the region’s historic atmosphere. Several kilometres and bends later, you will arrive in Vienna, where you will spend the night at the Palais Coburg hotel. In the evening, you can look forward to a tour of the wine cellar followed by dinner in the Clementine im Glashaus restaurant.

Did you know...? The city on the Danube has spawned some major figures: Mozart, Beethoven and Freud once lived and worked here; and the long history of the Habsburg Empire was of course written here. The best view can be found from the Kahlenberg, a hill located to the north-west of the city. In good weather, you can even see the Little Carpathians in Slovakia from here.

Day 3
Vienna – Styria – Vienna

Today, the focus is on pure driving pleasure – on an exciting route through Styria. The mountainous and woody region is also renowned for its orchards and vineyards. We will stop for lunch at the Zum Forsthaus restaurant in Fischbach, which is housed in one of the oldest buildings in the area. It was first officially mentioned in 1631 and has been owned by the current host family since the 1960s. We will then return to Vienna to the Palais Coburg hotel. You will subsequently enjoy a dinner at the Artner restaurant on Franziskanerplatz.

Did you know...? The Artner restaurant is a beautiful setting for event gastronomy: a well-presented grill and its own maturing cabinet testify to the restaurant’s speciality: exquisite meat.

Day 4
Vienna – Budapest

A city tour of Vienna awaits you – including lunch at the hotel. You will then drive to Budapest to Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace, a first-class establishment located directly at the foot of the famous Chain Bridge. You can round off the evening at the hotel’s own Kollázs restaurant with a wonderful view of the impressive bridge.

A must-see: St. Stephen’s Basilica is the largest church in Budapest and is situated just a few minutes’ walk from your hotel. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.

Day 5
Budapest – Esztergom – Budapest

Today, you will head to the small town of Szentendre in your Porsche. After a tour, you will continue to Esztergom, the former capital city of Hungary. You will make a short stop here to visit the basilica. Following a very authentic Hungarian lunch in Visegrád, you will take to the driving seat one last time as you drive back to your hotel. After bidding farewell to your Porsche, we will invite you to a surprise dinner.

Our tip: The nightlife in Budapest is cool, creative and underground. There is no better place to experience this than in one of the ruin bars – pubs that are housed in rear courtyards, ruins or buildings earmarked for demolition.

Day 6

After breakfast, we will offer you a city tour through Budapest on request. It will then be time to say goodbye. We will take you to the airport at your desired time.

Did you know…? The city is made up of 3 formerly independent cities that first came together to form Budapest in 1873. Pest, which makes up two-thirds of the city’s area, is located on the eastern, flat side of the Danube. Buda and Óbuda, which account for the city’s remaining third, are found on the river’s western, mountainous side.

* Please note: The tour from 10 to 15 August 2019 will take place in reverse order. Start: 10 August 2019 at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in Budapest (with optional city tour during the afternoon); end: 15 August 2019 at the Augustine hotel in Prague (with optional city tour during the morning).
