Day 1
Stuttgart

If you want to see Stuttgart at its most beautiful, the best place to start is at the Althoff Hotel am Schlossgarten. Right in the heart of the Swabian capital, the hotel welcomes you with magnificent views and well-kept parks, along with all the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel, of course. Over dinner with an exclusive group of fellow sports car enthusiasts, you can share the joyful anticipation of exploring the Black Forest with a fast and powerful travel companion from Zuffenhausen.

Did you know…? The people of Stuttgart have always had a passion for horsepower. The city is believed to have been founded in the year 945 AD as a stud farm (‘Stuotengarten’). Due to the natural conditions of the valley basin, which is enclosed on three sides, its location was ideal for breeding horses.

Day 2
Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen – Baiersbronn – Baden-Baden

Like most Porsche drivers, you probably cannot wait to take the wheel. Not to worry, your patience will not be tested for too long. After the transfer to Stuttgart Zuffenhausen, it is finally time for you to start the engine. One of the most dynamic driving routes in Swabia leads you directly past the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach and on to Baiersbronn, which is known as a centre of haute cuisine. The outstanding team at the Dorfstuben in the world-famous Hotel Bareiss ensures a superlative experience for its guests. The Rote Lache mountain pass will offer you spectacular driving thrills. This legendary pass is one that every Porsche driver should cross once in their life. You will soon understand why it is rightly regarded as one of the most impressive routes in all of Germany. In the evening, at the rooftop bar of Hotel Roomers in Baden-Baden, you can practically reach for the stars while enjoying a sundowner.

Did you know…? The Roomers bar’s signature drink is the local ‘Monkey 47 – Schwarzwald Dry Gin’. Perhaps Germany’s best-known gin, it owes its distinctive flavour to 47 different herbal ingredients and is produced by Black Forest Distillers in Loßburg.

Day 3
Baden-Baden – Oberwolfach – Hinterzarten

At the wheel of a Porsche, you sometimes may fail to see the Black Forest for all the curves. The Schwarzwaldhochstraße, or Black Forest High Road, is a real gem for expert drivers and literally puts the high beech, fir and spruce trees on the stretch to the Mummelsee lake in the shade. Oberwolfach presents you with the perfect opportunity for a pit stop before you venture deeper into the forest. A drive to the countryside can hardly be more beautiful and exciting than this. Unfortunately, even a day in Germany’s highest and largest low mountain range must come to an end at some point. However, a night at Parkhotel Adler, one of the ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’, will do much to comfort you. The top-class restaurant at the 5-star hotel, which is located on the leafy outskirts of Hinterzarten, will round off your evening with an exquisite dinner.

Did you know…? The Parkhotel Adler preserves precious historical gems and combines them with exciting new features. On the hotel grounds, there is a faithfully preserved Black Forest house dating back to 1639. Its contemporary counterpart is the modern wellness pavilion featuring a steam bath, saunas, and pools.

Day 4
Hinterzarten – Büsingen – Stuttgart

A drive through the fabulous Titisee region and along the Schluchsee lake serves as the overture to the highlight of your Black Forest tour: the Feldberg. With a height of 1,493 metres, this is Germany’s highest mountain outside the Alps and a real treat for Porsche drivers. Past the Black Forest’s largest lake, the Schluchsee, the route dynamically winds its way along the German-Swiss border. In Büsingen, at the Hotel Restaurant Alte Rheinmühle, accommodated in a charming 300-year-old timbered house, you can enjoy delicious traditional German cuisine against the backdrop of the frontier river after which it is named. Back in Zuffenhausen, it is time to say goodbye to your Porsche. Following a shuttle trip, your journey finally ends where it began: in the heart of Stuttgart. What you will take home are lasting impressions of spectacular country roads, lonely serpentines, and ancient forests.

Did you know...? Büsingen is the only municipality in Germany located entirely within an enclave. The village is situated directly on the Rhine, completely surrounded by Swiss national territory: It borders on the cantons of Schaffhausen, Zurich und Thurgau.
