Your itinerary

Day 1

Where else could a Porsche Travel Experience begin than in the heart of Stuttgart? As one of the international 5-star Leading Hotels of the World®, the Althoff Hotel am Schlossgarten guarantees luxurious lodgings. Of course, where you really want to be is behind the wheel of a Porsche. Fortunately, dinner at the hotel with its outstanding culinary delights will help you pass the time until the engines roar to life.

Did you know...? The Leading Hotels of the World® is a collection of authentic and uncommon luxury hotels in over 80 countries that embody the essence of the destination. To be a member, a hotel must meet high standards in terms of comfort, convenience and the well-being of its guests – just like the Althoff Hotel am Schlossgarten, which was built in 1962.

Day 2
Stuttgart – Merkwiller-Pechelbronn – Colroy-la-Roche

Au revoir, Stuttgart. After breakfast, your journey to France begins at Motorworld Region Stuttgart: on a route made for experts, specialists and enthusiasts. Your first pit stop on French soil is also a real pleasure. The Auberge Baechel-Brunn in Merkwiller-Pechelbronn uniquely combines the best of modern French cuisine with the warmth of a family-run restaurant. The journey continues along the roads of Alsace, which will capture your imagination with a mosaic of rolling hills, steep mountains and open plains – dotted with defiant castles, famous vineyards and sleepy half-timbered villages. One such village is the idyllic Colroy-la-Roche in the Bruche Valley. In the shadow of the Vosges mountains, the family-run Hostellerie La Cheneaudière & Spa has been taking excellent care of its guests since 1975. In the evening, you can enjoy classic French cuisine featuring local products.

Did you know...? The Vosges are a range of low mountains located in eastern France with a high point of 1,424 metres. The mountains of the northern Vosges are mostly flat-topped. The southern Vosges often have the distinctive shape of a rounded hilltop, formed as a result of erosion and glacier activity.

Day 3
Colroy-la-Roche – Gérardmer – Hinterzarten

The mountain and forest god Vosegus who gave his name to the area must have been an artist. Wherever your gaze roams or your Porsche goes, the Vosges are always a sight to behold. Passing Colmar, your route leads on to Gérardmer, where you can enjoy an excellent lunch at Les Bas Rupts. Chef Michel Philippe has been working at the rustic, gourmet, chalet-style restaurant for 50 years. As your trip moves towards the Black Forest, the driving highlights rival the high culinary standards that have been set. The Col de la Schlucht offers you spectacular views along with dynamic driving pleasure. Once you reach 1,139 metres above sea level, the pass serves up views of the Vosges ridge route, which crosses the Ballon des Vosges Regional Nature Park over 77 winding kilometres. Back in Germany, the Feldberg Pass will put a smile on your face. In Hinterzarten, Parkhotel Adler has been looking after its guests since the fifteenth century, and today will treat you to an excellent barbecue on the banks of the Adlersee.

Did you know...? The Parkhotel Adler looks back over 500 years of history and has some surprises in store. In 1770, the future queen of France, Marie Antoinette, visited the Adler post office – en route to her wedding with King Louis XVI. The hotel’s eventful past can still be felt clearly thanks to the 5 hotel buildings from different eras.

Day 4
Hinterzarten – Baiersbronn – Stuttgart

Often, the final day of a trip is all about the departure. On this journey, it is full to the brim with experiences. Driving along winding forest roads and past sprawling meadows, you can once again enjoy the performance of your Porsche to your heart’s content. The destination: a former estate that will captivate your senses with its Swabian-Baden gourmet cuisine. Let the Waldknechtshof with its restaurant Meierei spoil you with regional specialities and invite you to linger with its cosy ambience. For unforgettable views and pure driving thrills, a trip through the winding nature preserve along the Nagold Dam is also a must. However, even the action-packed final day of your tour must come to an end. Only memories remain, and hopefully forever, after your transfer back to the Althoff Hotel am Schlossgarten and your journey home.

Did you know...? Even at first glance, the Black Forest appears to be shrouded in mystery. Around 60% of the mountain area consists of dense forests. However, unspoilt lakes, picturesque mountains and rustic villages at the edge of the forest also exert a very special charm. No wonder legends about mystical figures inhabiting these regions are told to this day.
