Welcome to Italy! As soon as you land in Milan, our shuttle service will take you to “Laqua by the Lake”, a charming boutique hotel located about one hour outside the city. The hotel offers luxurious hospitality right on the shores of the picturesque Lake Orta.
After a drivers’ briefing, the official welcome reception provides the perfect opportunity to get to know the other Porsche Travel Experience participants and get excited about the days ahead. A true delight, rounded off by an excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant, which is part of the portfolio of multi-Michelin-starred chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo.
Lake Orta, Andermatt: Alpine passes and first-class comfort.
After a hearty breakfast, you start the engine of your Porsche for the first stage. Crossing into Switzerland, the road winds its way up to the 2,006-metre Simplon Pass, with wide views of the Valais Alps accompanying you along the route.
A leisurely lunch break offers time to take in the impressions of the Swiss Alps before the route continues to the Nufenen Pass – at 2,478 metres, the highest pass located entirely on Swiss soil. The Gotthard Pass adds another highlight with its historic cobblestone section. In the evening, you arrive at the hotel “The Chedi Andermatt”, where alpine chic, Asian aesthetics and refined cuisine bring the day to a stylish close.

Today brings the most intensive driving stage of the journey: a parade of legendary Swiss Alpine passes. The route leads over the Oberalp Pass and Lukmanier Pass to the impressive Santa Maria arch dam before continuing towards the Furka and Grimsel Passes, two icons of Alpine driving culture.
The return to Andermatt is no less impressive. The Susten Pass offers flowing curves, wide roads and pure driving pleasure. In the evening, dinner awaits at 2,340 metres, reached by cable car. High above the valley, fine cuisine and sweeping Alpine views bring the day to a memorable close.
Andermatt, Davos, St. Moritz: the Swiss Grand Canyon.
The Rhine Gorge – 400 metres deep and 13 kilometres long – is known as the “Swiss Grand Canyon” for good reason. High above the treetops, the road winds through the nature park before the scenery opens towards Davos. Along the way, enjoy a relaxing lunch surrounded by impressive Alpine scenery.
Afterwards, the Flüela Pass leads you back into pure driving pleasure. The day’s highlight follows with the Bernina Pass, offering flowing lines, sporting challenges and views of mountain lakes, glaciers and the imposing Piz Palü. In St. Moritz, the “Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski” welcomes you for a stylish final evening in Switzerland.
St. Moritz, Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta: first demanding, then heavenly.
A sense of departure fills the air as the final stage begins in the breathtaking Engadin valley – a high alpine paradise where rugged peaks, crystal-clear lakes and sweeping landscapes come together in perfect harmony. Here, Swiss precision meets Italian charm in a region made for driving. The road soon leads you over the Maloja Pass, where smooth curves and dramatic mountain scenery demand your full attention. Then comes the Splügen Pass – tighter, twistier and more challenging – offering a true taste of classic Alpine driving.
At Lake Maggiore, another highlight awaits: a leisurely lunch right by the water’s edge, surrounded by cinematic scenery and Mediterranean lightness. Refreshed and inspired, you return to “Laqua by the Lake”. From there, you board a boat for a short ride across the lake to the dinner location. A refined Italian Farewell Dinner marks the perfect end to this unforgettable tour.
