Day 2

Florence, Fiumana di Predappio, Florence: on the trail of a legend.

What a drive awaits you! After a sumptuous breakfast, we fire up the engines of our Porsches and set off. Today is all about pure driving pleasure, redefined on an original section of the legendary Mille Miglia.

In most countries, 1,000 miles is just a distance. In Italy, it is a legend. From 1927 to 1957, the iconic Mille Miglia took place annually – a race that became a symbol of passion, endurance and elegance. In 1977, the event was revived with lovingly restored classic cars. Among the participants: Wolfgang Porsche and his son Ferdinand, in a Porsche 356 Speedster – naturally bearing the number 356.

Now it is your turn. From behind the wheel of a Porsche, you will accelerate, brake and glide through Tuscany’s winding roads – creating memories that will last. Midday brings a leisurely stop at a historic, privately rented villa built in 1731. Once a noble residence, today this architectural gem is a haven of timeless elegance, where relaxation meets refinement.

In the afternoon, sweeping curves and panoramic views are guiding us back to the “Four Seasons Hotel Firenze”. The evening ends with a curated dinner in a handpicked restaurant nestled in the heart of Florence.

Day 3

Florence, Gaiole in Chianti, Casole d’Elsa: culinary delights.

Chianti has long been synonymous with the perfect red wine. With its characteristic vineyards, chestnut forests and oak trees, the world-famous wine region offers an idyllic landscape – ideal for exploring behind the wheel of a Porsche.

But it is not just the region’s winegrowers who know their trade, the chefs also know how to inspire. Whether traditional Tuscan recipes or international specialties – eating here is always a feast for the eyes, because Italy knows how to give its dishes a very special aesthetic like no other country.

At Castello di Ama you can enjoy a delicious traditional Tuscan lunch before tasting the exceptional wines later in the evening over dinner at the beautiful “Castello di Casole” hotel. Surrounded by rolling hills and extensive vineyards, you can end the day with Italian lightness and culinary delights.

Day 4

Casole d’Elsa, Volterra, Casole d'Elsa: the Manhattan of the Middle Ages.

A drive through Tuscany is like stepping into a gallery of living paintings. Today, the choice is yours: indulge in a restful day at the hotel, soaking in the picturesque views – or take to the road and let the stunning Tuscan landscape unfold before you from the driver’s seat of your Porsche.

The route to Volterra is truly captivating, winding through lush green forests and the breathtaking expanses of the Riserva Naturale Foresta di Berignone and Masso delle Fanciulle. Volterra itself is often referred to as “the mysterious city” – and with good reason. From its once-strategic position to the layers of diverse cultural heritage, and not least the imposing Medici Fortress that watches over the town, this place is full of stories waiting to be discovered. During a leisurely lunch in Volterra’s charming Old Town, you will have the chance to savour authentic Italian cuisine – rustic, refined and full of soul.

The return drive is equally enchanting. On your way back to the hotel, you will pass by San Gimignano, known as the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages”, with its iconic skyline of medieval towers. La Dolce Vita, in its most scenic and soulful form.

Day 5

Casole d’Elsa, Siena, Sarteano: pleasure all the way.

Today, you head straight to Siena, which is widely regarded as one of Italy’s most beautiful cities. Thanks to its remarkably well-preserved Gothic red-brick architecture, Siena is often referred to as “La Città Rossa” – the Red City – and has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995.

A guided city tour will bring Siena’s rich history to life. Of course, a visit to the iconic Piazza del Campo is a must. Since the Middle Ages, this distinctive shell-shaped square has been the setting for the Palio di Siena – the famous horse race in which ten of the city’s seventeen districts compete twice a year in a tradition full of pride and pageantry.

After lunch, we continue our journey with another picturesque drive into the Montalcino area – homeland of the world-renowned Brunello wines. At the hotel “Monteverdi Tuscany”, you can look forward to a typical Tuscan specialty for dinner, accompanied by the excellent wines of the region.

Sarteano, Bolsena, Rome: Roman hills.

Today, we embark on the final, epic leg of our journey – a spectacular drive from southern Tuscany to the very heart of eternal Rome. Our day begins with a scenic cruise along winding country roads, passing through the historic town of Orvieto, perched majestically atop a hill. From there, the route meanders through charming medieval villages that dot the gentle hills of the Campagna Romana – a region steeped in history, tranquility and authentic Italian charm.

For lunch, we will retreat to a private palace from the 16th century, nestled on the shores of the pristine Lago di Bolsena, one of Italy’s most beautiful volcanic lakes. Surrounded by serene nature and bathed in soft Mediterranean light, you will indulge in exquisite cuisine, savouring every bite in an exclusive, peaceful setting. After this delightful pause, we continue our journey towards Rome, where relaxation, culture and La Dolce Vita await you.
