Your experience in detail.
Day 1

Zagreb: anything but ordinary.

On your first leg of the journey, a chauffeur will take the wheel, driving you from Zagreb Airport to the renowned "Esplanade Zagreb Hotel", a historic building in Art Deco style. Zagreb is vibrant, creative and full of energy. A leisurely stroll through the city will immediately immerse you in its distinctive charm. Even the museums are far from ordinary, such as the "Technical Museum Nikola Tesla" and the "Museum of Broken Relationships".

After a drivers' briefing to gear you up for the challenges ahead, you can spend your evening in peaceful conversation with fellow Porsche enthusiasts at the hotel's elegant restaurant.

Day 2

Zagreb, Lovran, Rovinj: pearls of the Adriatic.

"Idemo", as they say in Croatian – here we go! An impressive selection of the latest Porsche models is set to outshine the sights of Karlovac. Winding mountain roads lead you to the Adriatic coast, specifically to the traditional spa town of Lovran.

A true gem of Croatian architecture is the charming port town of Rovinj in the Istria region. All roads lead to Saint Euphemia, Rovinj's iconic landmark. As you wander through the winding streets, you cannot miss the three-nave church on the hill. And the "Grand Park Hotel Rovinj" offers a stunning view of this Adriatic pearl.

Day 3

Rovinj, Livade, Rovinj: real truffles.

At its core, a curve is just meant to change the direction of travel. Unless, of course, you are driving a Porsche. On the winding mountain roads of the Istrian peninsula – some of which even have the status of a rally track – curves become a guarantee for pure driving pleasure. In Livade, an exclusive truffle menu at a unique local restaurant will delight your taste buds. By the way, Livade earned its reputation as the world's truffle capital thanks to a dog named Diana, who, in 1999, tracked down a 1.3-kilogram truffle – the largest in the world at the time.

Winding past vineyards and olive groves, you will take small serpentine roads back towards Rovinj. At the "Grand Park Hotel Rovinj", you can then explore the secrets of medicinal herbs at one of the "Top Spas of the World".

Day 4

Rovinj, Zagreb: where the stars stay.

A classic European coastal road runs along the west coast of Croatia. The turquoise-coloured sea on the right, the steep rocky cliffs of the hinterland on the left and the winding asphalt under your sports seat – that is the Croatian way to dream.

After lunch, you ride along technically demanding but extremely enjoyable roads through dense forests before reaching your accommodation. Your day trip ends at the "Esplanade Zagreb Hotel", which has been a stylish retreat for stars from the worlds of film, music and politics for many years. To round off the evening, flavourful highlights await you in the hotel's own restaurant.

Day 5

Zagreb: sightseeing before the farewell.

If you have time before you leave, be sure to explore Zagreb's sights – especially as most of them are conveniently located in the city centre. It is best to start with the main square Ban Jelačić, a popular meeting place that is considered the heart of the city. The cathedral, the tallest historical building in Croatia, is also impressive. Also worthwhile: a stroll along Tkalčićeva Street, a lively pedestrianised area with numerous cafés, restaurants and boutiques. Or a visit to Dolac Market, whose red parasols characterise the cityscape.

It will not be any easier to say goodbye – but the anticipation of your next Porsche Travel Experience will be all the greater. And if you would like to take home a culinary souvenir, opt for the region's natural specialities: olive oil, wine, honey – and of course, truffles.
