Your experience in detail.
Day 1

Olbia, San Pantaleo: pulsating excitement.

Benvenuti in Sardegna. From Olbia Airport, you will take a shuttle to San Pantaleo. Here the "Petra Segreta Resort & Spa" marks the luxurious starting point of your 9-day island adventure. After the drivers' briefing by the Porsche Experience Team, you will enjoy a Welcome Drink in the enchanting hotel garden, garnished with a first-class view of the Costa Smeralda glittering in the evening light. A magical spectacle that would never get old. A little later, the culinary pampering programme continues in the form of a first-class dinner. Settle in and enjoy the dream start.

Day 2

San Pantaleo, Bonifacio, Porticcio: from island to island.

After the vehicle briefing, you will start the first stage of your Mediterranean exploration tour. In the Porsche 911, you set off to the northern tip of Sardinia. From the charming coastal town of Santa Teresa di Gallura, it is only a stone's throw to the neighbouring island of Corsica. The one-hour ferry crossing delights with picture-perfect maritime panoramas. The spectacular finale is provided by the port town of Bonifacio, which sits enthroned on a chalk cliff that drops vertically into the sea.

Once you are on French soil, you will take the rudder into your own hands again – and get your first impression of the breathtaking beauty of the island as you continue your journey north. A winery idyllically nestled in gentle vineyards will serve you a rich buffet with original Corsican specialities at its own infinity pool. The last stage of your first driving day takes you past the "Lion de Roccapina", a natural rock formation that is reminiscent of a lion and offers a magnificent sea view. In the late afternoon you will reach the "Hôtel Marinca & Spa". Time for relaxation. You can enjoy the fabulous ambience of the recently opened luxury accommodation. Grand finale? A delicious dinner with sea view.

Day 3

Olmeto, Porto, Monticello: the wonderful west coast.

Ready for your most driving-intensive day? The west coast with its bizarre rock formations and tight bends will delight you. On the way to Cargese, you will see the picturesque coast disappear in the rearview mirror. Then, following a detour into the hinterland, you will reach the Gulf of Sagone. A brief refuel in a charming beach bar. Back on the coastal road a little later, the fascinating rocky landscape of "Calanques de Piana" appears through the windscreen. The mysterious, reddish shimmering rock formations seem like they come from another planet and are not a UNESCO World Heritage Site for nothing.

In the bay of Porto, you can let the fantastic impressions sink in with lunch in a majestic panoramic location. The last stage takes you further north. At the hotel "Casa Paradisu", your day literally ends in paradise. The modern lifestyle hotel near the attractive harbour town of L’Île-Rousse leaves nothing to be desired. Before dinner, you can enjoy a Mattei Cap Corse – the traditional aperitif of Corsica – and count the hours until the next stage.

Day 4

Monticello, Corte, Porto-Vecchio: enjoyment at the highest level.

Off to Corte. The former capital of Corsica is situated in the interior of the island. With its picturesque Old Town built high on a cliff, it is visible from afar and invites you for a coffee break with a view. After a brief drive through the pretty streets, you will follow the call of the sea again and drive to the east coast. While having lunch in a selected beach bar, you will feel the gentle sea breeze blowing through your hair. On the subsequent tour over the spectacular "Col de Bavella" mountain pass, you will get back in the driver's seat again. Of course, a photo stop with the magnificent view of the stately Bavella massif, reminiscent of the Dolomites, is a must.

Your journey then continues on winding roads down to the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio. At the hotel "Casadelmar" you can enjoy the golden evening light with a aperitif. Later, the hotel's exquisite 2-star kitchen will treat you to a dinner that, like this wonderful day, will remain in your memory for a long time to come.

Day 5

Porto-Vecchio: at your leisure.

Relax or explore? At the halfway point of your journey, your individual needs alone decide the direction. You can slow down and enjoy the advantages of the great "Casadelmar" hotel complex. Or you can visit one of the many secluded bathing bays in the surrounding area. Shopping enthusiast? Then in Porto-Vecchio you will find many charming shops and souvenir shops. Would you like to experience even more of Corsica and also explore the south of the island from the cockpit of your Porsche 911? Embark on a 3-hour tour through the diverse landscape of southern Corsica.

After you return to the "Casadelmar", there is still enough time in the afternoon for the hotel's own absolutely beautiful private beach, which you can easily reach by shuttle boat. You can also spend the evening as you please. For example, with a stroll through the picturesque old town of Porto-Vecchio.

Day 6

Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, Lu Fraili di Sotto: au revoir Korsika. Ciao Sardinien.

Corsica was a dream. It continues in Sardinia. From the hotel "Casadelmar", you will take the well-developed T10 back to Bonifacio. Your personal "Tour de Corse" ends here. You can quickly get back to the neighbouring Italian island by ferry and will then be ready for new adventures. You will drive on lonely side roads through dreamy cork oak forests and finally reach an oasis of hospitality between gigantic granite rocks and ancient trees. A genuine source of energy for hungry explorers. The magic of this inspiring location will delight you. Just like the unmatched, delicious pizza variations fresh from the wood-fired oven, which are served with a fine selection of other Mediterranean delicacies.

With new energy, you will continue to the "Baglioni Resort Sardinia", situated along the northern stretch of the island's eastern coastline. There you can end the day relaxing on the breathtaking panoramic terrace. What could still be missing? A gourmet dinner at the Michelin-star restaurant “Gusto by Sadler”, which will spoil you according to all the rules of Mediterranean cuisine.

Day 7

Lu Fraili di Sotto, Oliena, Cala di Volpe: on isolated roads.

Your last, great driving day lies ahead of you. With movingly beautiful impressions of natural wonders. During your sporty drive on the SP3 towards the south, you can admire the wild, romantic landscape around the Monte Albo mountain range, which rises to 1,127 metres. You will hardly see any tourists here in the hinterland of the Costa Smeralda. Instead, lots of sheep. Up for some culture? On a tour of the "Museo delle Maschere Mediterranee" in Mamoiada, you will be amazed at the variety of traditional masks and costumes of the Mediterranean region.

Traditional food culture is also on the day's programme. In Oliena, "Su Gologone" will get your taste buds going at full speed – with original Sardinian delicacies and freshly baked shepherd's bread. Experience the production of this centuries-old speciality live and look over the shoulders of the virtuoso bread bakers in regional costume. Then start the engine of your Porsche 911 one last time and head back to the Costa Smeralda. Destination: "Cala di Volpe". The sophisticated luxury hotel was the setting in the James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me". On this day you will have the license to enjoy a cinematic dinner at the restaurant "Matsuhisa".

Day 8

Cala di Volpe, La Maddalena Archipelago, Porto Cervo: the grand finale.

What could possibly come next? Dolce Vita for the advanced. From the hotel, you will set off on a private yacht to the world natural heritage site "La Maddalena Archipelago". At a restaurant on the main island of the archipelago, fortify yourself with Mediterranean delicacies and enjoy the relaxed lounge atmosphere of the unparalleled location. Before you are dropped off at your hotel's pier in the afternoon, you will stop for a swim in the crystal clear water off the coast.

Enjoy your evening in Porto Cervo, the hotspot of the international jet set with many luxury shops and top-class bars and restaurants. You can have your aperitif directly at "La Piazetta". Afterwards, the renowned fish restaurant "Quattro Passi al Pecatore" awaits you with a fabulous Farewell Dinner. The ideal setting for a warm Arrivederci.

Day 9

Porto Cervo, Olbia: enriched with many memories.

After 8 wonderful days and a hearty farewell breakfast, a private shuttle service will take you to Olbia Airport. But only if you have not extended your vacation by a few more days to continue your exciting tour of discovery in Sardinia of course.

By the way: it is never too early to start planning your holiday. Perhaps you will soon be planning your next journey with the Porsche Travel Experience. The world is big and there are still so many wonderful things to discover. Stay curious.
