Your experience in detail.
Day 1

Nice, Cannes: welcome to paradise.

At the edge of the Mediterranean, where the gentle waves meet the pebble beach, Nice welcomes you like an old friend – with a beaming smile and open arms. You will immediately feel the flair of an area where distinctive luxury meets splendid nonchalance. You will be taken quickly and comfortably from Nice Airport to the 5-star hotel “Barrière Le Majestic”. After a drivers’ briefing to prepare you for the days ahead, the luxurious hotel on the Boulevard de la Croisette promenade will delight you with its magnificent view over the entire bay.

Incidentally, the “Blue Coast”, a 25-kilometre-long section of the French Mediterranean coast, was already very popular in the art scene in the 19th century. The vastness, the light and the way of life on the Côte d’Azur inspired many intellectuals such as Paul Cézanne. Wonderful conditions for a lovely evening.

Day 2

Cannes, St. Tropez: legendary jet-set meeting place.

Nothing compares to the driving experience in a Porsche. Your first ride of the day takes you just a few centimetres above the asphalt along the coast to St. Tropez. Since the 1960s, more yachts than fishing boats have been anchored in the harbour of the legendary jet-set meeting place.

A stroll along the promenade with its noble boutiques to the Baie de Pampelonne, the largest sandy beach on the Côte d’Azur, is one of the most delightful experiences to enjoy while you are there. If you already feel like you are in paradise, you are yet to experience the “Hotel Sezz” and the “Althoff Villa Belrose”. While “Hotel Sezz”, located near the city centre, impresses with its modern design, Mediterranean ease and relaxed luxury, the “Althoff Villa Belrose” enchants every guest with its unique atmosphere, nestled in an exclusive residential area on a hill in Gassin.

Day 3

St. Tropez, Lorgues, Tourrettes: France's most exciting roads.

When you explore the hinterland of the French Riviera, you will wonder why many people only go to the coast. Especially since a drive on the “Route nationale 562”, which is considered one of the most exciting roads in France with its countless bends and gradients, through the gently rolling vineyards is also worthwhile from a culinary point of view: for an audience with the “truffle pope”.

In a local speciality restaurant, the owner personally pampers the palate with the most valuable things that can be found in the soil of southern France. The 5-five-star golf resort “Terre Blanche” extends over 300 hectares. The suites and villas, measuring at least 60 square metres, are located exclusively in detached country houses on the mountainside and offer an exceptional view of the surrounding medieval villages. There can hardly be a better reason to park your Porsche.

Day 4

Tourrettes, Moustiers Sainte-Marie, Tourrettes: breathtaking natural monument.

A special route also leads from Tourrettes to Moustiers Sainte-Marie. The picturesque village of 700, north of the Lac de Sainte-Croix reservoir, is quite rightly considered one of the most picturesque mountain villages in France. After a lunch of typical French refinement, your journey continues through Provence – past the Grand Canyon du Verdon, one of the largest gorges in Europe.

Over thousands of years, the water dug into the mountain and now meanders through the 700-metre-deep gorge in a turquoise-blue river. A breathtaking natural monument. Your return to the “Terre Blanche” will make you feel like a god in France in this dreamlike setting.

Day 5

Tourrettes, Gourdon, Vence: a pearl of Provence.

Gourdon is undoubtedly another jewel of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France – the most beautiful villages in France. There you will have a fabulous view of the surrounding lavender fields. Just 30 dynamically driven kilometres further, one of the most famous travel destinations in Provence sits enthroned on a rock: Vence, which, despite its popularity, has retained the charm of a barely touched Alpine town.

The “Château Saint-Martin & Spa” in a former castle of the Knights Templar is likely the most historic place in Vence. The historic Old Town invites you to take a long stroll like no other. If you can tear yourself away from the unique view of the coast, you should take a look into the in-house wine cellar. From the first sip it will already be clear that southern France can also be discovered with the palate.

Day 6

Vence, L’Escarène, Cannes: sport and film combined.

The Monte Carlo Rally can begin – or rather, a drive along a section of the legendary original route. On the countless hairpin bends up to the Col de Turini, your Porsche will demonstrate its full potential in an impressive way. Your destination in Cannes is the “Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic”, just a few steps from the Festival Palace and closely linked to international film history. Throughout the hotel, you can test your film knowledge with hundreds of black-and-white photographs of its most famous guests.

In the evening, the next highlight awaits you: crossing to Antibes, to the famous “Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc”, in a small yacht. Here your day and, unfortunately, the Porsche Travel Experience comes to a stylish end – before you return to Cannes for one last night.

Day 7

Cannes, Nice: shaking hands with legends

Many great personalities have left their mark in Cannes. Some for eternity – over 200 actors and directors left their handprints on the French Walk of Fame, the Allée des Étoiles. If you have time, you should not miss a “handshake” from Meryl Streep, Sylvester Stallone and many other icons.

For the grand finale, you will once again be treated to an incomparable view of the Côte d’Azur from the helicopter on the way to Nice Airport. So your journey ends where it began 6 eventful days ago: in the air.
